I couldn't believe "The Hurt Locker," though a very good film, beat out "Avatar" for the Academy Award for best picture. "Avatar," by far, was the most incredible movie, with the amazing special affects that seemed well beyond today's technology. The movie was stunning, and that was proven at the box office. This year's results reminded me of the same situation the year "ET" lost out, though it was by far the best film that year. It was incredible to believe that "Avatar" was not chosen best picture.
