Oh, the exquisite decadence of it all. At Oscar De La Renta's Spring 2011 runway show, there was almost too much romance to handle—almost. The daywear was beautiful and refined with fitted sheaths in bright prints, swingy skirts with floral appliques, hand painted check skirt suits and shibori dyed dresses. There were even pants, as light and airy as their frock counterparts.

But let's not kid ourselves here, what you really want to know about are the gowns. And oh the gowns—the gowns! They were gorgeous and classically Oscar, perfect for a princess or someone who just wants to feel like one. Any restraint present in the daywear was thrown out the window for evening, with pure glamour taking the reigns. There were tiers of ruffles, intricate embroidery, bows placed in just the right place. In shades of black, pale pink, champagne and even orange he narrated every women's fantasy of getting swept off her feet by a handsome prince. Oscar never fails to get it right, and there's no doubt that every woman has a little space in her fashion closet for him.
